I am currently working as a video creator for the YouTube channel NNUTE (www.youtube.com/@nnute_) a recently established vlog channel that shares both daily and meaningful moments of her life. There are currently 5 videos documenting her experiences as a language school student in Melbourne and London.
From the early stage of conceptual development, including naming of the channel, NNUTE and I have collaborated closely. Throughout the process, a lot of communication has been essential to understand the tone and atmosphere NNUTE wants from the video and to translate these sensibilities into the visual and narrative structure of each video. To create a consistent look for the channel, we chose baby pink as NNUTE’s signature colour. It appears in the logo and in the subtitles that identifies NNUTE throughout the videos.
Our production workflow follows a clear sequence: NNUTE records and uploads footage to a shared album in order; I then handle the rough cut, volume balance, and adjustments to saturation and brightness. Next come subtitles, sound effects, background music, and additional text or visual effects. After completing a draft, NNUTE reviews the video and provides feedback before final revisions.
With each video, I explore and apply different visual and sound effects—not only to strengthen my editing skills but also to improve the overall quality and visual appeal of the channel.
typeface DESIGN
I designed a typeface based on the theme of Dynamism.
Exploring the meaning of the word led me to ideas such as fluctuation, flexibility and freedom, which eventually inspired the concept of Water Waves for my typeface.
Unlike conventional fonts, I used circles as the fundamental grid, reflecting the organic form of water movement and challenging the traditional framework of type design. The outer circle defines the overall shape of each letter, while the inner circle represents the subtle reflections that occur on the water’s surface.
Building on this concept, I created a complete typeface that visually captures the sense of flow and motion. To further highlight its unique characteristics, I selected a specific letter in which the concept of water waves appears most clearly and designed a poster featuring them. The poster not only showcases the aesthetic features of the typeface but also conveys the idea of continuous movement and transformation that lies at the heart of dynamism.
interactive coding
WEXER IN THE LANES is an user-interactive game that responds to a specific area in Brisbane. It is a game to help the alien Wexer, who
accidently landed on Earth, get set up to look normal in order to
stay safe until Wexer could get back to its own planet safely.
Players will be given options from each store displayed in the
map, and as they enter and select one of the three options
from each stores, the final outcome of saved choices will
appear as one image, which people can call it as their own
character, as it has been made by their preferences. Players
are able to move the character using the joystick and are also
able to make selections, return to map, etc using three buttons.
UI/UX DESIGN
I designed a smart home mobile app using Figma. The main purpose of the app is to allow users to control and monitor their home even when they are away. Its key functions include controlling room lighting, checking home security through connected cameras, and remotely starting appliances such as the washing machine and dryer.
